The DICHEN DC500 4K Fuser is a high-performance video fusing device integrating both HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 interfaces. It has been updated with new firmware that supports over 95% of current displays with HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 interfaces. This upgrade delivers enhanced stability, broader compatibility, and superior high-frame-rate output with native image quality.

🔄 Firmware Update Compatibility

Units of the DC500 Fuser shipped before April 22, 2025, come with the older firmware version. Users of these early batches can freely upgrade to the latest firmware, which resolves most known bugs. If your device is working properly, updating is optional—you can upgrade anytime in the future.

Hardware and Build Quality

* PCB board material is on par with RTX 4090-class components, ensuring top-tier electrical performance and long-term stability.

* Equipped with original imported XILINX FPGA chips, offering excellent image processing capability.

* Both top and bottom layers of the fused video are output at full native resolution with no compression.

* In DP mode, although some ultra-high refresh rates run at 6-bit depth due to protocol limitations, our proprietary image processing ensures a visual output indistinguishable from 8-bit.

* Dual-interface output is visually sharp and smooth, with true, unaltered frame rates.

— Monitor must support full-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 FRL (48Gbps)

— Recommended secondary PC CPU: 6 threads or higher

DP 1.4 Version Specifications

* Supported Resolutions & Refresh Rates:

— 1920×1080P @ 480Hz

— 2560×1440P @ 320Hz

— 3840×2160P @ 160Hz

— Backward compatible with lower refresh rates; ultrawide supported.

* GPU Requirements:

— Both host and secondary PCs must have Nvidia 10 series or newer, or AMD RX500 series or newer GPUs

— Secondary PC CPU: Recommended minimum of 6 threads

Extreme Performance Benchmarks

DC500 has been successfully tested to support:

— 4K @ 144Hz

— 2K @ 300Hz

— 1080P @ 480Hz

With AMD 6000 series or newer GPUs, the fuser can reach:

— 4K @ 160Hz

— 2K @ 360Hz

— 1080P @ 600Hz

(Note: Nvidia cards are limited by enforced DSC compression protocols, which may prevent reaching maximum refresh rates. This is a GPU-side restriction, not a fuser issue.)
